Bleap Card combines a non-custodial account with a Mastercard for everyday spending. Its public offer includes virtual and physical cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, a 1% base cashback rate, higher rewards for selected merchants, and no Bleap fee for card spending or foreign-exchange markup.
The important details sit behind those headlines. Card issuance is limited to eligible residents of the EEA and Switzerland, and residency alone does not guarantee access. Bleap says some otherwise eligible accounts may still see the card marked as coming soon. Cashback also varies by merchant and has fair-usage caps, so the advertised 20% rate is not a general return on every purchase.
How Bleap Card Spending Works
Bleap describes the account as non-custodial, but card payments do not draw directly from every crypto asset held in the wallet. The current help center says card transactions use a USD or EUR payment balance funded with supported stable assets such as USDC or EURE. Other crypto balances must be converted before they can fund a card payment.
That distinction matters when comparing Bleap with exchange cards. The wallet model is different, but Mastercard settlement still requires a defined payment balance and a regulated card account. KYC remains mandatory.
The card is available in virtual and physical formats. The virtual card supports online payments and mobile-wallet spending. A physical card is required for ATM withdrawals because the virtual card has no PIN.

Bleap Card Fees and Limits
Bleap's current fee schedule lists no provider fee for card payments. The card page also lists no issuance fee, monthly maintenance fee or Bleap foreign-transaction markup. Those claims do not make every account action free: network fees and processing costs can apply when buying, selling or bridging assets, and an ATM operator can impose its own charge.
The published card limits are clearer than they were when Defimap first added Bleap. A card payment can be up to €10,000, with a €15,000 daily total and €30,000 rolling 30-day total. Physical-card ATM use is limited to three withdrawals and €400 per rolling 30 days.
Users should treat these as current program limits, not permanent guarantees. Bleap says account status and regulatory requirements can affect limits.
Cashback: 1% Base, Not 20% Everywhere
Bleap pays cashback in USDC. The current program lists a 1% default rate for eligible purchases, 3% for selected transport and delivery merchants, and up to 20% for named streaming, AI and gaming subscriptions. Each category has transaction or period caps.
Excluded merchant categories include cash-like transactions, financial services, gambling, government payments, utilities and several professional-service categories. Payments routed through Curve are also excluded. The useful comparison number for ordinary spending is therefore the 1% base rate, while the higher rates should be treated as merchant-specific benefits.
Eligibility Needs an In-App Check
Bleap limits card issuance to residents of the EEA and Switzerland and publishes a separate list of restricted nationalities. It also says card access is not universal across all EEA accounts; Italy and Spain are examples where an eligible resident may still see a staged rollout.
This is narrower than the card page's worldwide acceptance language. Mastercard acceptance describes where an issued card may work. It does not expand the countries where Bleap can onboard a cardholder.
Who It Fits
Bleap is worth comparing for eligible European users who want wallet-oriented custody, clear card-spend limits and mobile-wallet support. The published base cashback and fee schedule make it easier to model than products that expose only a reward headline.
It is less suitable for users outside the EEA or Switzerland, anyone who needs guaranteed card activation immediately, or users who want to spend arbitrary crypto balances without first matching the card's supported payment currencies.
Decision
Bleap Card has enough current public detail to compare seriously. Its main value is not the 20% headline. It is the combination of a wallet-oriented account, a 1% base cashback rate, disclosed limits and a current fee schedule.
Check the Cards tab in the Bleap app before relying on availability. If the account is eligible, compare the live Bleap Card profile, virtual crypto cards, Mastercard crypto cards, cashback crypto cards and self-custody crypto cards.
Pros
- Good: Combines non-custodial wallet design with card spending
- Good: Publishes a 1% base rate and merchant-specific cashback tiers up to 20%
- Good: Current schedule lists no Bleap card-spend, issuance, monthly or FX markup fee
Cons
- Watch: KYC is mandatory
- Watch: Higher cashback depends on named merchants, categories and fair-usage caps
- Watch: EEA or Swiss residency does not guarantee that the card is enabled for an individual account
Bottom line
Bleap Card belongs on the shortlist only if its fees, regions, funding flow and KYC rules match how you plan to spend. Check the provider page before moving funds.
