DPT Pay offers two crypto-funded Visa tiers with different users in mind. Oxygen is the standard digital Visa Platinum card, while Obsidian is an invitation-only Visa Infinite tier built around premium travel benefits. Both sit inside a custodial account where DPT says digital assets are held with BitGo.

The current DPT Pay Card profile is useful for users comparing digital Visa access, Apple Pay or Google Pay and travel features. The choice starts with the tier, then moves to the fees and country eligibility shown during onboarding.

Current Confirmed Product Facts

DPT's live product page confirms the card formats and service model below. These details distinguish the current offer from older versions of the landing page.

Oxygen is the relevant tier for normal onboarding. It focuses on an instant digital card, travel protection and a possible upgrade path for qualifying high spenders.

Obsidian is not a normal upgrade button. DPT positions it as an invitation-only Visa Infinite product with concierge service, airport lounge access, travel protection, hotel benefits and event access. Users should not treat the tier name as proof that their account will qualify.

For most users, Oxygen is the product to compare with other virtual crypto cards. Obsidian belongs in a premium travel shortlist only after DPT provides an invitation and the complete account terms.

Funding, Custody and Conversion

DPT describes a flow where users spend digital assets and the merchant receives ordinary card settlement. The account is custodial rather than self-custody: users rely on DPT and its custody and card partners for balance handling, transaction authorization and access.

The public page does not list every supported asset or blockchain network. Users should copy the in-app deposit address and network exactly, then verify the conversion quote before transferring funds. The same rule applies to refunds: confirm which balance receives a reversed card payment and how long settlement takes.

BitGo custody is a relevant infrastructure detail, but it does not replace product-level checks. Insurance language is subject to applicable terms, and card balances, crypto balances and partner protections may not receive identical treatment.

Fees and Limits to Capture During Onboarding

DPT's current product page focuses on the card tiers and benefits rather than publishing a complete consumer fee table. The app is therefore the final source for the price of the account offered to a specific user.

Before activating Oxygen or accepting an Obsidian invitation, record:

  • card issuance, subscription and replacement cost.
  • supported funding assets and blockchain networks.
  • conversion timing and spread.
  • base currency and foreign-exchange pricing.
  • daily, monthly and merchant-category limits.
  • refund, chargeback and failed-payment treatment.
  • physical-card and ATM availability for the selected tier.

This is more useful than carrying forward fee figures from an older version of the site. A card program can change issuer, region or pricing while keeping the same brand name.

Eligibility and the 150-Country Claim

DPT's privacy policy describes KYC processing, including identity documents, nationality, residency and biometric data. The card is not a no-KYC product.

The provider also refers to Visa use across more than 150 countries. That wording describes merchant acceptance after a card has been issued. It is not a country-by-country promise that residents of every one of those markets can open a DPT account.

Users should complete the residency check before comparing lounge access or travel insurance. An attractive Visa tier has no practical value when the card cannot be issued to the user's legal address.

Who DPT Pay Fits

Oxygen may fit users who want an instant digital Visa card, use Apple Pay or Google Pay and are comfortable with a custodial crypto account. Its travel protection also gives it a clearer use case than a generic online-only virtual card.

Obsidian may fit eligible high-spend or frequent-travel users who receive an invitation and can verify the full cost of the premium benefits. It should not be valued as though the invitation were automatic.

DPT is less suitable for users who require a public fee table before signup, self-custody at checkout or a published issuance-country list. Compare it with virtual crypto cards, Visa crypto cards, Google Pay crypto cards and travel crypto cards.

Pros

  • Good:Oxygen and Obsidian have clearly separated use cases.
  • Good:the standard card is digital and supports Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Good:Visa tier and BitGo custody are disclosed on the live product page.

Cons

  • Watch:fees, limits and supported assets require an in-app check.
  • Watch:exact country eligibility is not published as one list.
  • Watch:Obsidian access depends on an invitation with separate criteria.

Bottom Line

DPT Pay is a real two-tier Visa product, not a generic placeholder card. Oxygen is the actionable option for most users; Obsidian is a separate premium path that matters only after invitation.

Use the DPT Pay Card profile to compare the confirmed product structure. During onboarding, save the live fee, eligibility and funding screens before moving assets or treating the card as a primary travel payment method.

Pros

  • Good: The current page clearly separates the Oxygen and invite-only Obsidian Visa tiers
  • Good: Apple Pay and Google Pay support make the digital card more practical
  • Good: BitGo custody and instant digital-card access are disclosed on the current page

Cons

  • Watch: The current product page is not a complete fee schedule
  • Watch: Exact issuance countries, supported assets, card limits and FX costs are not published
  • Watch: Merchant acceptance in 150+ countries does not establish card issuance eligibility

Bottom line

DPT Pay Card belongs on the shortlist only if its fees, regions, funding flow and KYC rules match how you plan to spend. Check the provider page before moving funds.
